Procedures of L Visa Application for Home Buyers from Overseas in Beijing

A. Eligibility
Overseas Chinese over 60 (included) who have purchased home in Beijing, their spouse, or children under 18.

B. Application Documents
1. Passport with Current visa
2. Residence Registration Certificate in Beijing
3. Entry visa/Resident Permit Application Form
4. A recent 2-inch photo with pale blue background
5. Documents certifying the applicant's source of income, or financial guarantee for or of the applicant notarised by notaries in China
6. Notarised Ownership Certificate of the applicant
7. Marriage Certificate for spouse
8. Birth/kinship Certificate for children

Note: Photocopies and the originals are required of the above listed documents; whilst notarisation by the local Chinese Consulates is required for certificates issued abroad.

C. Term of Validity
Visas good for 6 or 12 months with 0/single/double/ multi entries are granted for unlimited times of application.

D. Time for Approval
Approval upon submission of requisite documents will take 5 workdays, which does not include Saturday when applications are collected.

在京购房人员申请L签证须知

一、申请签证的对象：

年满60周岁在京购置房产的外籍华人及其配偶和未满18周岁的子女。

二、申请签证的材料：

1、有效护照和签证；
2、在京住宿登记证明；
3、填写准确的《外国人签证、居留许可申请表》，贴一张浅蓝色背景近期2寸正面免冠照片；
4、生活来源证明或者经国内公证机关公证的经济担保书或者经济自保书；
5、注明申请人产权所有的产权证；
6、配偶之间的婚姻证明；
7、子女的出生证明或者亲属关系证明。

注：以上证明均须提供复印件；境外机构出具的有关证明须经我国驻外使领馆认证。

三、申请签证的时限：

可以申请有效期6个月或者1年的零次、一次、二次或者多次入境有效签证，申请次数不限。
